Hazet M-22 Double articulated Extension

Strangely enough I'm struggling to find anything on this 3/8" square drive extended hex tool. When googling Hazet M-22, I keep getting M22 as a suffix for cutters that they make. Anyone know the purpose of this item? I would presume that the use is fairly specific.....

^^ You might try looking up Hazet-No 2722.

A catalog search lists it as being a Daimler-Benz (=Mercedes-Benz) special wrench for 6mm hollow hex head screws.

An internet search inputting 'Hazet 2722' shows some for sale being described as a 'shock absorber releasing tool'

Alot of german cars use female hex fasteners. That tool would be quite useful for many applications.

OTG, It gives about 45 Degrees, and is a "ball swivel" and the actual business end (hex) is more a classic U-joint, and offers almost 80 Degrees as shown....

I realize this is old but the Hazet 2722 is an oil pan nut wrench for older mercedes. I have the 1962 Hazet catalog and collect hazet. 2722-1 is some late model shock wrench
