Hazet Style Tool Trolley

Alright guys, Im sad to say I am listing my Tool Trolley for sale.
I would love to hang on to it, but im out of space to store it.

Its not flawless, Its certainly not museum material, but it is in pretty darn good shape for how old it is.

Shown here is with the locking bar installed, you can see that the two support tubes do not fold down like the newer Hazet trolleys, but are like the old style that just stay vertical.

You can see here some of the flaws, scratches and dings.


I also have seven shelf dividers which will be included in the sale, they are a little rusty, and could use a paint job, but they probably would be fine as users.

Tools are not included obviously.

Im looking for $250, but am open to any offers!

The cart is completely unmarked except for the stickers that at one point said 'Tool Trolley'

Quite frankly it is unknown who made the trolley, or even where it was made. I have done a lot of research on the topic, and from what I can gather, it was made sometime in the sixties, and either made by the mexican company Urrea, or an american company.

There have been a few threads on the Garage Journal about these carts, and a ton of speculation, but nobody seems to know.

I believe your cart is made by Hazet for Urrea. It is painted in germany.check this thread on the Samba.com. I have the same cart and have owned a first run hazet. I think the red one is just as well built

This tool trolley is not made by Hazet. It is a Taiwanese knock-off that weighs about half as much as the Hazet version with the thinner gauge steel. The dead give-away that the cart is a knock-off is the location of the tray bumpers. On real Hazets the bumper is on the bottom edge of the tray. I have seen this model sold on ebay in a metallic blue or a red version like the one shown.

Johnny Bent Wrench is right, there is a red Hazet cart that is made for the South American market but the one shown in the photos here is not it.
