I've got a Hazet dealer here in Taiwan who is more than happy to sell old stock items at a steep discount just to get rid of them.

For new present stock, I buy direct from Germany. TBS Aachen has excellent prices and will deduct the European tax for buyers outside of the EU.
But Jens Putzier is even better and outstanding service!

We were just sitting around brainstorming the other day. What would you Hazet fans love to see from Hazet that they don't do today?

Could be new tools that they don't have, improvement of quality, different surface finish, special sets with tools that aren't available as a set today, etc.

Let me know.

I would love to see an improvement from hazet that is not related to their tools.

Their damn site! I am making a list, from several companies, of tools that i will buy sooner or later, and every time i end up in their webpage, i soon leave because it is so frustrating to find a tool.

Not related, i know, had to say it.

How about some "Wright-grip" / "Flank Drive Plus" serrations on the open end of the combination wrenches?

Here are some actual news (15.11.2014) translated from the local newspaper - original article in German here: http://www.rga-online.de/rga_105_11...rsteller-kehrt-zu-seinen-Wurzeln-zurueck.html -

"HAZET traditional company expanded its production area in the former Kaufpark (supermarket-chain) building.

Remscheid - More than a year nothing was done. The store of purchase parks in Vieringhausen 85 was empty after a few hundred meters (Vieringhausen 127) a much larger branch was opened full-line manufacturer in August 2013.

Since then, there was ambiguity, what about the future of the old object. Lange nothing happened. Just long was also discussed and speculated.

For a few weeks now is hammering and drilling in the empty building, partially worked until well into the evening. The crucial question only: What happened there? Quite a few readers have recently turned to the RGA (the name of the local newspaper) and wanted to know what occurs there.

It is now clear: The company Hazet returns to the roots. When the tool manufacturer who has become one of the most technologically advanced companies in Europe, was founded in 1868, namely that happened exactly at this point.

This closes the circle. The qualified small blacksmith Hermann Zerver was with his initials (Ha, Z-et) the namesake of the company, which has since taken a remarkable development.

Meanwhile, the demand is so great to Hazet products that has made this an extension of the production area required. This area is now used in a size of 1400 square meters in the former Kaufpark building. Ideally, anyway owned by Hazet, in the Güldenwerth has its headquarters.

Relocation of assembly later this year.

The building is currently being renovated to meet the requirements. So says the management of the tool company, which is already successfully in the fourth generation. The shift of the (extended) Assembly is expected to take place this year."

I might take some pictures these days and keep you up-to-date :) .

Cheers,
Philipp

I'd like to see the soft grip handles on the ratchets in black, rather than blue. The blue soft material gets dirty after using for one second. (I've already switched my 916sp to an old stock black handle.)

I'd also like to see Hazet branded tool rolls for carrying the wrench sets such as the 600N 6~32mm, 450 wrenches, 630 wrenches, etc.

Here some Hazet 612 Flare Nut Wrenches :) I bought them because they are really strong heavy Duty Design, and also for the reason that only Hazet offers a 16x18mm Flare Nut Wrench. Nothing available from Stahlwille, Gedore, Beta or Facom in 16mm (Needed for some French Cars)...

How about some 3/8 or 1/2 drive ratchets and breaker bars with all steel handles, similar to the grips on the short/bent handle ones in 1/4 drive that were recently introduced! The two component handles are relatively comfortable, but like all of these things, don't work that well in a greasy environment!

This is probably not something German tool companies do, but I'm totally smitten by mid-length/semi-deep sockets. And since I'm also smitten by Hazet, I might sell a kidney to buy some....

just to leave my mark here

I mainly collect old HAZET tools from the 1970s - but some are of the 1920s to today...
see my webpage translated by google.

HAZET 773 late and early versions (1969-79), 772 mid-term version (1965-1972), handle of a 2590 (1958-76, made by Stahlwille)
on top of a tool cart for Volkswagen (1955, made by HELKA alias HELmut KAatsch)
