Not from the US, but a HAZET source many dont seem to know about is Amazon.de. They ship most places in the world.
If you use Amazon.com all your account info is already on Amazon.de, so just sign in.
Use google auto translate if you cant understand the german.

Jens, forum name jensputzier, will ship globally. He'll also act as a broker if there are any other items of interest beyond what he normally deals in.

Another source is Michael Scholven through the hazet dealer heisse-nuesse.com.

Both are great guys willing to help you get what you need.

On an aside try to get stuff sent snail male, DHL (which reverts to the USPS once in the states) or another private shipping company. FedEx and UPS can get stuff to you fast but you do get hit with a pretty sizable bs "brokerage" fee by using them on international goods.

In the US, try http://www.motoringshoppe.com. Prices are comparable without the international shipping delays. I have loved dealing with Jens when I have bought form him, but I am not always patient enough to wait the extended time for shipping directly from Germany.

I got my 20 x 22 deep offest from zdmark on eBay. It ships from the motor sports place in fla. I think they are brothers.

For some stuff I can get them through the company whose machines I work on (Dornier, based in Germany). That won't help you guys though...when I couldn't get something through them I've used Chad's Tool Box in the past, but I think I'm done doing business with them. Ebay works very sporadically, but Ash from German-Hand-Tools is quite reliable and reasonable, if you don't mind shipping times.

Wow this is awesome too hear all from places I've never used before very interesting, yea shipping direct from Germany can just about take long enough you'll have pulled out all your hair by the time it gets here, except not everything thru everyone is always "Available" in the US thru the US distributors, most of my sets and my box came out of the Florida whearhouse including my box I purchased came from there, I've done alot of dealings with Maryland metrics, (takes alot of patients searching thru PDF systems of finding the tool you want them finding the corrialteing number that goes along with the tool in a separate PDF, I like going thru them because there's no international shipping you are stuck dealing with and and all the prices are just about unbeatable at least compared too all the other ways I've ended up receiving them,MDMETRIC is not bad dealing with I usually end up dealing with Dennis from over there he's pretty nice and gets back too you very quickly too let you know if what you want is in stock and available, but I started using them for there price and how quickly it gets back too you NOT for there customer service lol

Yes, unfortunately not all tools are available from them outside Germany.
Just like Amazon.com does not ship all their products outside the USA.

Click on International shipping on the left panel and the page will only show the tools they ship internationally.

HI, i have over 100 New Old Stock Hazet Tool sets listed on ebay. Wrenches, socket sets etc... are listed and i believe them to be at better prices than anywhere else. A number of GJ members have bought from me and some pictures of the tools they have bought are shown in the Tools from the Old World thread. My ebay User ID is JRWOODCA
I really enjoy Garage Journal and love reading the threads . Thank you, Jason

I have placed several orders through Jens. For some reason, it seems to take them longer to get to me than most places. My last order took right at 1 month. It's not Jens' fault--he ships them out but I guess getting to the Midwest takes forever--I don't know.

I prefer the Motoring Shoppe in FL. They've raised their prices to current levels but for a couple of years, the old owner would honor the 2007 prices, so you couldn't beat it! They also arrived much quicker if they have them in stock.

I've recently spoken to the new owner and he really wants to make a go of it so I'll be ordering through them in the future to see how that goes.

Like others have said, there is a fair amount on eBay.

There's a little group of us here that are into this brand and I've bought/sold some to other members fairly easy as well.

EDIT: I wanted to clarify something I made a mistake on. I went back to get specifics. The shipping was not actually 1 month from Jens. I had ordered a special spark plug socket that he had to in turn, order from Hazet. I looked at the shipping dates, it was actually 15 days for shipping. Better than I had initially thought because I had forgotten about the special order. I guess it's like Apex says below...time seems to slow way down once your Hazet order is placed :)

Ditto. Was great to deal with Jens, but the wait to get my order here in the Chicago area was not satisfying my need for (relative) immediate gratification. I would most definitely order from him again, if I wasn't in any particular hurry to get anything. Might have been an anomaly, who knows?

To all of you who have made fast experiences: Thank you. To all of you to whom it might have taken a little longer: Sorry, but this is in the hands of your local post and customs office.

I have everything in stock I have on Ebay and much more. What I don't have in stock, I receive from the the manufacturer usually within days. And I ship very fast, usually within 24 hrs. Also from tracking information I can see that all shipments leave Germany very fast and as planned.

I can ship every order by UPS at higher costs which will lead to transit times of a week. Heavier items like Assistent 166 tool carts or larger tool trolleys are shipped by airfreight (1 week) by default anyway.

I have to admit that two orders shipped by DHL got lost last year but I have replaced them at my cost. Even though every shipment is registered this happens.

So I am doing my best and in 99% of the cases it works out perfect. The 1% is handled with a professional approach.

Just to put this into perspective: The delivery time was 8 calendar days between payment and delivery. Including weekend and customs clearance. This is much longer than within the US and much longer than I would love to wait for my new tools. But for an international shipment quite reasonable. I think.

In addition I can deliver all Hazet tools including the odd parts, large Assistents and spare parts in a short time opposed to national vendors that can deliver what is in stock and everything else has a lead time of months.

But I strongly suggest that all of you buy from the vendor that they trust most and not the one that does the best advertising. If it's not me, I can live with it, but I am trying hard to satisfy everybody as good as I can.

I highly recommend Jens. I have bought several items from him and the shipping time to California was faster than most items shipped UPS ground from the east coast. It has been a pleasure doing business with him.

I know I may sound like a cheap ******, but here in Canada we have Gray tools. Every 3-4 months they put out a flyer with sale items.

Does Hazet or any of the German tool makers do that?

I order from Jens. The service and prices are excellent. The amount you save will make the shipping cost worthwhile.

I have ordered from Spaenaur in Canada and it was an absolutely horrible experience. The prices were high, the shipping and other fees were unreasonably high. The only reason I ordered from them was because their online catalog had listed a lot of obsolete old stock items which I wanted. The catalog items looked like circa 1990. I thought I had discovered a treasure trove of NOS Hazet. It seemed feasible since their prices were so high, maybe they just had a ton of stock that they couldn't move. Either they really had the old stuff or they just had an absurdly out of date catalog. I asked them in very clear terms whether they were the old items or the new ones (they listed 600 series combination wrenches rather than 600N, for example) They assured me that all the items were exactly as in the catalog. I asked again, are they 600 or 600N. They replied that they were 600 series.
Every time I sent an email to them, a different person would answer. I had to repeat questions over and over to get an answer. It was an orwellian nightmare.
When I was fairly sure that they were indeed NOS after asking so many times, I finally pulled the trigger.
When the package came and I paid the whopping import fees, I opened it up.
To my horror, everything was the current stuff. They were 600N's not 600's etc.
What a fraud.:rocketwho:bigun2::Gun1::monkey_po:uzi:
I just cannot express my total disgust with this company.

Save yourself from the rip offs and high prices.
Just buy from Jens. Plus you're exempt from the 19% german sales tax.

Hi everyone,
I've been buying from Jens on behalf of friends for a while, all products/ his services have exceeded expectations. So recently I took the plunge and bought a tool kit for myself. As a new apprentice this was a big step. Jens went above and beyond to provide top quality service. Even when DHl failed to do their job Jens stepped in and made the process so much easier. Thank you once again Jens.

Here in the U.K. I order from 'tools from Germany.com'!

Their service is excellent and I think their goods come direct from Hazet, so there are seldom any 'out of stock' issues!

They do ship to the U.S.A. but the shipping is obviously going to be costly! Something to be considered though!

Thank you all for your comments. We are currently working on a webshop which will be fully functional some time in September at www.jensputzier.com It will carry Hazet, Wiha, Knipex, Brockhaus Heuer and some more tools will be added as time allows. The shop will be in English, German and Spanish. Customers outside of the European Union will automatically NOT pay the German VAT and you will clearly see the shipping costs before you buy.
