Hazy indoor from Minisplit?

I have a minisplit in my external garage and last night I noticed that it was hazy inside, almost like something was on fire. Nothing smelled at all and I opened my door and it cleared out. This morning I went in and it is hazy again, again nothing smelled. My other garage on my house also has a minisplit and it is fine, no haze. the temp is set the same in both garages, 65 degrees and it was cold out last night, 25 deg or so. The humidity is 35% in both Garages and roughly 45% outside. Both seem to be heating fine. Any ideas what the haze could be from? I was thinking moisture from something but not sure why one is doing it and not the other, or why it is doing it at all? Both minisplits have been in for roughly 7 years so not a new installation.

Came home from work today and it was fogged up again, anyone have any ideas what could be causing it?

Not sure on this but perhaps the haze is condensation as the unit equalizes the moisture/atmosphere in the building.

so 1st question, Do you have teenagers/kids?
2nd question: are they using your garage ?

Nobody is in the garage, it is completely closed up at all times. The temp has been set at 65 for the whole winter so its not heating up a cold room or anything. Its weird.

There is no residue on anything in the Garage, I also dont see anything coming out of the blower.

then i don't see why it would be condensation or water vapor.

There is some oil in the coolant. Do you have a coolant leak and you're seeing oil vapor?

I dont know? There is no smell and the heat is still working OK.

2nd question: are they using your garage ?

That would be "Purple Haze".

Shut it off for a day and see if it goes away. I would think it would be a moisture issue, outside gutters plugged up?

Came home from work yesterday and it was all clear in there, today it is clear as well. The unit has been on the whole time. Not sure what it was for those 2 days and is a mystery.
