HD Lithonia high bay light

Anyone use these yet? HD has them on sale locally for $79.00
6 T8 bulbs will be 192 watts per unit. I would think with a good bulb these suckers would be quite bright as well as efficient.
dual rated ballast...everything looks good.

Before I go out and get 8 units to put in my 14' ceiling, just wanting to check with anyone if they have had any experience with this unit.
That would give me 1.6 watts per ft and appx 139 lumens per ft. (962 sq ft)

High bay light fixtures are generally used for much higher ceilings, say 20 feet or more. In a 14 foot room I think the light distribution isn't going to be very good - you'll get hot spots under each light with darker areas in between.

To be honest, I think these are discontinued models that HD is carrying. The current I-Beam line all has Model Numbers beginning with IBZ, while these are just IB, in addition, all current I-beam lighting is flat on top, cannot find anything on the Lithonia site, save one pic, that shows the lights with the "doghouse" running the top middle of the fixture like the ones HD has.

These are most likely narrow light distribution models, which is standard. If they were wide distribution, they would have either WD or WDU in the model number, which these do not. Narrow distribution does have polished aluminum reflectors, while wide distribution has white reflectors, which in the pics, these appear to be white.

Lithonia does say on one page

that the fixtures (current IBZ series) are suitable for use from 15 ft to 40 ft.

Its possible HD has not listed the correct model number,

i was looking for the WD (read on Lithonias site also)
the ones on their site look the same without the big reflectors. those models are $165+
i definitely dont want dark spots..so my thinking (possibly flawed) is this:

When I hang these with the chain I will pull up 1-2 links on one side to "cant" the unit and do the opposite on the other side to give a better lighting pattern - might offset some "uplighting" as well. Again - I could be totally crazy, but it just might work.
Otherwise I will have to go with the contractor lighting 96" double bulb units and just install a bunch more
