A good friend of mine and I were digging through his big Macsimizer looking for something and he showed me a Blue point ratcheting box end. He said, "you don't want these, do ya? I'm not going to use them. This box came with a brand new set of Snap-ons."

I politely said... "Yes, please."

Ended up with Blue Point offset metric, MAC offset standard, MAC flat metric, and MAC flat standard ratcheting box ends. And a set of KaStar (?) ratcheting serpentine belt wrenches (I think that is what they are). Along with a some other stuff like old screwdrivers, saws, 3 rivit guns and a newer set of HF retaining ring pliers.

Free tools are always nice, especially when they are quality.

I previously used that style of ratcheting wrenches quite a bit.

But since the higher tooth-count, slimmer combination stye ratcheting wrenches came out, not so much.

I love those MAC pliers. Not an excellent tool for anything but a good tool for everything.

Yep, when the new ratcheting box wrenches came along, the old style lost 90% of their value. They still work as well as they ever did, just don't get any lovin' in the used tool market any more. Use and enjoy.

As you should be excited. You got a lot of great useful tools that cost your buddy a ton of money at one point in time and he was nice enough to help you out. That is a good friend.
