I'm down on the coast, where giant mosquitoes you can hit with bat live.
Every now and then we have a little wind they call a hurricane.

I recently moved from Rock Port (near Corpus) to the Hill Country...couldn't stand the humidity any more.

The hill country, now that is where I would like to be.
Dry, no mud(for very long anyway), or pine trees.
I have some family in Star witch is South of Brownwood(Mills co.)
I love it up there.

Say Nathan...East TX is as big piece of property. Narrow it down a little. My kinfolk call that "God's Country".

I'm just down the road in Portland....I love it down here...but cleaning vehicles after going to the beach is horrible

Welcome. Ya, "east Texas" starts at Dallas and goes past Mississippi if I recall...
