headlight ground?

Ok... I forgot to take a picture when I pulled it apart this morning so now I'm not sure what blade on the back of the bulb is the ground. If I test for continuity between the wires and the chassis and get continuity on one wire that is the ground correct? I really don't want to burn anything up, this is on my snowplow and its snowing now... The light was dim so I took it apart to see what was going on, found a broken wire inside the headlight bucket. Should have fixed it and stopped there but I wanted to shine up all the connections since I had it apart.... Thanks guys!

Correct. Of course, if there are other bulbs in parallell, you'll get a path to ground through them on any of the wires. Set the meter to ohm and look for the wire with the least resistance to ground.
