Anybody use one ? It might be some time before I can install heat in my shop.
Even with a furnance type heater I was thinking this idea looks good.

walking thru Costco and felt this blast of heat (felt good in our very cool Seattle area Summer) and thought that would be good for those days working at the bench for awhile or just to warm up now and again .
w/o heating the whole shop.
pros/cons ?

They have been around since WW I
Not very efficient.
They use a lot of current for what they do.
But if you are just going to be at a workbench for an hour, it is cheaper then heating up the whole shop.
