Need to provide additional airflow to attic area. House is 2 story plus attic, airflow to the bedrooms etc is good, the floor register in the attic doesn't get enough air to it ,(been converted from storage area to bedroom) I remember they sold inline duct air boosters(inlinefans?) that helped to supply more air on long duct runs, any suggestions, ideas welcomed ?? TIA

Check that you also have some way for the air to return to the furnace. You also have to have enough capacity in the fan and ducting to move the air throughout the system. I have used a duct booster in the past to move air through a duct and they do work.

I agree that they do work, as I have used them. BUT, remember, you can't get blood out of a turniup, (as they say), so, you may need to do an air balance on your other registers to allow for the extra cfm needed to supply your inline duct booster.
