I have a Master Appliance gun that I picked up from a second-hand store some years ago. It is an excellent heat gun, has a fair amount of optional stuff available for it (stand, various tips and such). I use it a lot for heat-shrink tubing.
A few years ago, I needed a heat gun to remove some decals from a tractor hood, and my good one was in one state while I was in another, so I picked up a HF unit for $9.95.
That cheap Chinese gun has worked every time I turn it on for at least three years now. I keep expecting it to go up in smoke, but it doesn't.

I have the DeWalt gun with the LCD display (click). Love it because it's adjustable from 150° to 1100° in 50° increments.

Steinels are great. I have an older version of this at home and I use them at work to solder/shrink. Pricey but work great.
