Heat pump for 23" opening?

OK, my first real thread. I've done my introduction, and I have questions!
First on the list is this; is there a heat pump small enough to fit a 23" opening?
I have a tiny window on the side of my garage that has a 23" opening. I'd love to have heat and cool in my garage.
In the winter I can run the clothes drier for about 30 minutes, and the small space heater will do enough that it's not too bad. But in the summer, the heat outside may be in the 100's. Nothing will cool.
Having said that, I'm worried that anything small enough to fit in that tiny window will be too small to do any good. Ideas? Thanks, Mike

OK,
After spending the day researching heat pumps I'm thinking about installing an air conditioner in the window and buying a portable electric heater that has a bit more capacity than the tiny heater I have now.
That gives me the opportunity to have the heater follow me around in the garage.
It also allows me to use the heater in the house, if need be.
It seems to be easier to make the garage warm than it is to make the garage cool.
It's Texas, after all....

Some manufacturer's of window units make both a window A/C and an identical looking unit that is also a heat pump.. I saw them both in Lowe's, and believe it or not, on Walmart's web-site, about a year ago. How big is the garage, and does it have good insulation in walls and ceiling? That will be your best return on investment, no matter how you heat and cool your garage.
