Well the Mrs. went back to Costco and sure enough it should have had a bulb.
Its in the shop working now . Pretty nice when your in front of it.
Since my building is half metal its got that Pole building colder inside than out
thing going. It was 48 when I plugged it in and after a few hours its 48 :lol_hitti I figured that going in . I just pointed it toward my workbench.
So far so good .
I'll snap a pic when I head back out.

Heat rises. Put the unit lower and put a mantle around it so it looks bigger. In this way your brain will tell your body it's warm. LOL

Really...could you mount the unit closer to where you are working? It's a small unit it can do but so much.

I set it up per the instructions at least 8'2" high . Until the kids are gone maybe I should follow the safe rules . Not that any of them would venture out and project on there own.

Hot air rises. Infrared heaters do not appreciably heat the air - the infrared waves heat the surface of whatever they hit. I wouldn't expect the air temp to change much at all, but those little infrared heaters can do a good job of warming the important stuff - You!

In a large area that is not well insulated and/or maintained at a constant temp, infrared is the way to go IMO. Flip it on when you're in there, and turn it off when you're not.

When I played hockey the rinks frequently had infrared heaters 15+ feet in the air. If you stood in one place too long the top of your head would get seriously hot.
