My first post here, so bear with me. I live in the snowy north, but I have been upgrading my 2-car garage. I have a unit 45,000 BTU heater, insulated o/H door, insulated walls, etc. I only heat the garage prior to doing some shop duties, but even without heating, I get a fair amount of snowmelt. I've been brushing off as much snow as possible before bringing the car into the garage, but still getting some large pools of water, that I squeegy out. I have a couple of motorbikes that i keep in the garage, that I would like to prevent rusting in the winter months, but now I see I will have to set up some sort of venting system to rid the garage of moisture. What can you tell me about your set up, if you encountered the same thing?
thanks

Just a thought, squeege out as much as possible. Then maybe an old refrigerator with the door left open so the moisture can condense in there. Kind of a poor mans dehumidifier. Just open the door when you're concerned about moisture. Direct a fan towards the open door.

had the same problem with a radiant heated floor.even though i have floor drains the moisture was condensing on the windows when it got cold enough outside.i put in a residential type bathroom exhaust fan up high on the wall and vent it outside.i just rigged it up on an ext cord and plug it in when necessary.it works very well and keep the air space nice and dry.

You can also wire the exhaust fan to a humidistat.Auto on Auto off. No more lying in bed wondering if you shut it off or not.

I also find a dehumidifier works well , mine has a pump so no emptying the bucket ,
i hooked the hose directly to my sink on other side of garage wall .
