Heated jacket?? for a Ryobi user

I have all Ryobi tools, so Id prefer NOT to start buying into Milwaukee or another brand battery system.

Yeah, Ryobi doesnt make heated gear....bummer.

There are, however, lots of other options out there that arent centered around a specific tool related battery setup.

Anyone using anything they would recommend?

Or maybe.....if say Milwaukee IS the greatest since sliced bread, I should just go that route and grab a couple batteries?

Uses.....

NOT daily. I dont work outside for my main job.

I do own some storage units, equipment etc. So think, setting on an open crab tractor blowing snow, maybe running a skid loader......cleaning a storage unit out.......running a load of gravel and spreading it.

Definitely not framing a house or such.

Thanks in advance. Ive done alot of Google searches...reading....so far has been very little help.

PS. I used to own alot of motorcycle related heated gear, IE 12v plugged into a vehicle. While that sounds EXCELLENT for setting on a tractor plowing snow.....I think it would limit me - so Id prefer standalone solutions.

Even if you spliced in a Ryobi battery adapter the 18V would be bulky+heavy to lug around.

That's what I was thinking.

I mean the cost of a couple batteries if purchased new at full retail IS significant ....but

Holiday specials....used.....even off brand / refurbished wouldn't be a huge deal....IF the end result is a superior product.

Either way you're going to pay $150-200 for a piece of heated gear, might as well make it a Milwaukee that comes with a m12 battery. You can keep it separate from your anointed Ryobi batteries if you wish.
