I'm starting the task of hanging and running gas line to a 50k Big Maxx heater tomorrow, and at the last minute I'm doubting my mounting location.
Here's my garage. Basically a standard 2 car with the right stall being extra deep. I was originally going to mount it right in the corner above the rear door, but that doesn't provide much room at all in the attic to access the vent pipe, and the vent on the roof will be close to the gutter. So I was going to move it further out into the garage and have it point at the corner, like this...
But when figuring out the best way to mount it with 24" on-center trusses, I realized it would be cleaner and easier to just mount it so it's parallel with the wall and pointing at the center of the garage door. The back right corner would probably be the best, but the gas pipe will be exiting the basement right where the air compressor is, so I would have to run it around.
Do you guys think there would be much difference in how the air circulates? Any advice would be appreciated
