My daughter's room is "always cold" according to her. She uses a Kenwood oil filled heater at night. The tag says 1500 Watts. We are looking to get a countdown timer that lets the unit run 1,2,4,8 hrs (does not have to be these times), but most are only rated to 1000 Watts.

One idea I have is the wire a wall timer into the plug (in a plastic box), but if something is available please let me know.

I found that too, but in the questions it states only 1000watts and many reviews says not good for heaters.
