I can't decide how to heat my gallery/storage building. I live in Georgia and the humidity is terrible in the summer. My oil paintings get mold. Even thought I won't be using the space to work in I need to have a controlled temperature. I will periodically go in there to show people my work and to hang new paintings. I've researched window units and mini splits. Am very confused what to do. Thanks

Do you have specific questions? Both a window unit or mini-split would likely solve your problem.

I was thinking of like they have in motels. One unit that heats and cools.

Mini-split can heat and cool as well if you use a heat pump version.

To the OP, it would help to know the building size and construction as well as insulation that it has if any.
