I'm fairly new to this forum and have learned a lot but still have some questions.
I have a 28 x32 garage with three garage doors. The common wall attached to the house is insulated, the two side walls are insulated [ not sure about a vapor barrier], and the ceiling height is 11' without insulation.
The garage temp will drop down to 38-40* in the dead of winter here in mid Nebraska and I would like to add some type of heat when I work in the garage. I would like to heat it to around to 50-55* if possible but have concerns about moisture etc. Can I use some type of portable heat or even a ceiling mounted unit set to 50* and not worry about ice dams and any other moisture problems?
Any suggestions or words of wisdom would be appreciated.
