Hi,

I bought my house this past March. It has a 20.5' x 20' framed, non insulated garage.

The garage doesn't have an entry to the house, though it is attached. The wall connecting it to the house is drywalled.

I would like to finish the rest and install a hung, natural gas heater. There washer and dryer are below the main entry door to the house and the garage entry and main entry are kiddy corner. The dryer is plumed for natural gas but is using electric. I plan to get the gas out of the basement and out to the garage.

I hope to insulate and drywall it this spring. That is the easy part.

The rafters are open and I would like to keep them open for storage. So do I insulate the roof up there?

What say you guys? Pictures are always welcome.

Install a ceiling and put in a drop down staircase, this gives you a place to store items, as well as a place to hang some nice florescent lights! Other good things it hides all your junk.
