Am in the process of designing a 60X40 metal garage with 16 foot walls and 24 foot peak. Live in Kansas so winters can be anywhere from moderate to brutal. I will keep tractor and pickup in the garage, but will only use it intermittently over the winter (maybe 2-3 times per week). Really don't want to continuously heat it, but would like to be able to get it to low 50's when we are using it.
I had looked at radiant heating versus a more conventional forced air system. If I was going to use It more often I would definitely want the forced air system, but with the intermittent usage, perhaps the radiant system is more economical/practical.
