We have a 50 X 50 garage (2500 sq')
-32,500 cubic ft.
-13' ceilings...R-30
-2 X 6 walls

We have an outdoor woodburner, so there's a hot water supply. Floor has been poured, so radiant is out. I'd like to keep it 50/65 degrees

What are our options here?
Two 100k Modine's?
Base board?
Or?

Thanks in advance. Tony

Thank you Jim, it seems fin/baseboard will cost to much for this application. The Modines can be had for under $1,000 plus the Pex tubing.

If you need 2 100K modines at a grand apice, you can buy a lot of high output commercial baseboard for that much money. Also using baseboard introduces the heat into the space down near the floor, which is the ideal point. Any ceiling mounted unit intruduces the heat up high and you end up with some pretty high temps up there to get the room feeling comfortable down where you are actually standing. That's why those units have such big fans on them, it forces the warm air down so that it can rise throughout the space. One other thing...the baseboard is nearly silent.
