I have this GTE applicator tool,
It secures the tube of RTV with the crimped end, then as the slider moves forward squeezing the tube, it forces the RTV out. Sometimes the RTV is thick and the crimp unfolds as you squeeze. Would preheating the tube help? Like in a glass of hot water?
