You weren’t able to find one locally? I would’ve thought someone would stock this within some distance of Triangle area
I couldn't find one, called 3 HVAC repair companies in Raleigh and they said they could order one for me(pretty much double price), so I just ordered it myself from supplyhouse.com. Weather is not cold this week, so that worked out great.

In the future, if you need a Goodman part quick to get your heat going, Ferguson HVAC in Raleigh will normally have it in stock. They are a Goodman distributor and not a repair company.

Thanks for the info, unfortunately I checked with them and they do not have this motor in stock.
SupplyHouse delayed the shipping and now expected delivery is Monday.

You mentioned the portable heaters barely heating the place. Do you have an electric oven? Turn it on 200, and leave the door open. It will get you about 17,000 BTU of heat.

Do not do this if you have a gas oven!!

I do have an electric oven and that is a good idea, thanks!
I also have a gas fireplace which can warm up the living room enough, but haven't used it this season (totally forget about it as it's more of a decoration than a proper heat source).
The weather is in the high 50s these days, so not too bad. The portable heaters keep the room warm enough and I am mostly in the garage anyways.

agree completely.

it must be done on broil with a fish in the oven. swap the fish out every 15 minutes or so to avoid extreme regret.

Motor arrived, replaced it and heating is back, thanks everyone, you guys helped me fix this!

Even though the motor is good, I will definitely not be buying anything from SupplyHouse again, their shipping is painfully slow.

That's too bad. I've had great experiences with them and am making another purchase this week

That's good! I'm not saying this to discourage others from buying there, it's just my experience. I waited 10 days for the product to arrive. I have no idea where they ship from, but I've had products arriving from China faster than this.

I wouldn't let it discourage you as well. I would consider that an outlier and they are a good supplier with good prices. Were they slow to ship or was shipping delayed?

Both.

They shipped it late, 4 days after I placed the order and then UPS delayed it for another 3 days. The original shipping estimate was only 3 days on their website and it turned out to be 10 days.

I checked their website now, it says "In Stock, Get Thu, Dec 14" if you order today. I really doubt that, but again, the product is good and like you said, their price was also good.

My bet is they didn't have it in stock, ordered it from their supplier, then shipped it to you, or dropped shipped it. Plus it is Christmas time, shipping companies get hammered this time of year.
