Anyone have any ideas or pointers for getting larger heavy items off the ground.

I have a Kobalt table saw and kobalt miter saw both are on folding stand dolly things.

I want to try to keep these high I don't use these much. Wondering who has done this.

Thanks in advance.

Pallet racks would be your best bet. They can be found all over craigslist and when companies close their doors, and they hold a ton of weight.

Yeah,
but lacking a lift truck,
how do you get them onto the shelves ??

I have a hoist, but that only works for the shelves in line with it.
I am looking for something to go to the right or left once at height.

Roll it under the pallet rack on the 'ground floor'. Hoist it up using the top-most shelf. Once it clears the lower shelf, slide flooring into place.

Not knowing how high up you want to place them I would say an engine hoist should work fine. cheap even new , since what you are lifting is not that heavy you can add a longer boom to give you more heigth.
