I have a Hein Werner 93642 Model C floor jack. I believe it is an older model based on some rebuild videos i have watched. Is there a way to identify the model year? There is what i believe to be a serial number tag and i had read that the month and year were part of the serial number. I have attached the tag ID. Can anyone tell me the year?

On the sticker it says

Pentair Company

So they owned Lincoln until 2004 so it should be labeled Lincoln still before the Hein Werner conglomeration of Clore Automotive Lincoln St. Louis and Hein Werner of the china take over

I believe this jack is older than 2004 as it is even an older Lincoln model based on a comparison i was watching on youtube. Does the model C or the serial identify the year or range of years in any way?

on hcrcnow, com there is a 93642 series C owners manual that has a copyright date of 1992. That should put it in the middle of the Lincoln era.

I do believe the serial number does have date information in it, but I don’t know what they are.
Where is the best place to buy a good quality rebuild kit? From @Hiball ? I messaged him but he did not respond. Maybe best to call them?

Where is the best place to buy a quality rebuild kit for the 93642? And are there any extra parts I should replace during the rebuild that are not in the kit?

Just taking a swag using same format of "serial number date of manufacture" I've seen on other products, I'd guess 20295 to be the 295th day of 2002.

I don’t think Hiball is in the business of selling rebuild kits anymore. Go find his signature line at the bottom of his posts. He should link a “hydraulics supply store” he likes a lot because they have something like 40-50 years of experience with many vintage American brands of floor jacks.

There are also a small handful of vendors around the country. HCRCnow is one of them. I think another is named Blackhawk Parts(?)

Also, on the current hein werner website is a link to a list of brick and mortar hydraulic stores that serve as their distributors of jacks. They should be able to obtain parts.
