Is the axle bushing available for this jack? Anyone know where to get it if so?

Looks like a Hein-Werner WS. You can try sending "Hiball" a PM, he may have some laying around.

That's the trouble with these old jacks - they're solid, but when you need hard parts for them, you're often SOL, unless you've got access to a machine shop.

What are the approximate dimensions of that bushing?
Anyone with a lathe and the material can make you one.
A good hardware store should still sell bushings. The ace by me does.
You may have to adjust them with a lathe.
It don’t rotate that fast so a regular bronze bush will work

I’ll have to measure tomorrow.

Unlikely you will find a NOS bushing, fortunately it’s a floor jack and not a NASCAR race car. The beauty of older jacks, in particular frame parts is that the sizes are fairly common, I’d suspect one could find a brass bushing at your local hardware store that would work.

Don’t overthink it.

Doesn’t need to be nos. Just want one the correct shape and size. No hardware stores around here anymore. Just Lowe’s and Home Depot which I doubt would have it. Going out to the garage in a few, I’ll get a measurement.

This ^

Would take less time to turn it than to try to figure out another solution assuming the OD of the stock is similar.

Seems like the Ace near me has some plain bronze bearings but that's going to need a bit of machining.

Might want to make 2 of them so the opposite sides match :)

The bearing may be worn. Also measure the diameter of the shaft the bearing is sliding over and the diameter of the hole the bearing is going in.
