Hein Werner Jack value

I found a used Hein Werner 2 ton jack, that the seller says has very little use on it, since he is a homeowner. Wants me to make him an offer on this. I am thinking about $100, but don't know if I am being realistic or not. My old Hein Werner WS is very tired and needs a total rebuild, assuming that there is nothing damaged on the inside. Your thoughts??

It sounds like a fair starting point especially if its in good shape. He said make him an offer so make an offer that is in your best interest. All he can say is no. It's not like he posted an asking price and you are low balling.

Not there best model... hard parts are near obsolete. $50 IMO..

The seller got back to me.. said that he had 2 $200 offers, 1 $225 offer, and asked if I was willing to go to $250.. I didn't reply... If he wants to auction it, he should put it on eBay, not Craigslist.
