I am rebuilding a Hein Werner model M 2 ton floor jack . Anyone know how to get the leather cup that's on the nain ram's piston into the cylinder without destroying it ? I soaked it in jack oil for a few days thinking that it would make it pliable enough to squeeze it into the cylinder . Not happening . I don't know if there is some kind of tiny piston ring compressor type tool that would work or not . any input will be greatly appreciated . The leather cup is about 2" and the cylinder is a little less than 1 7/8 " .
