Hi everyone and thanks for adding me. I just picked up this jack and wondered if anyone had any info on it. I have a feeling the handle was hand-made. The only reason I can think of for doing it is to use in tight spaces, or under a vehicle, etc. Seems to work fine, but don't have any leverage.

For sure that is cut down. Looks easy enough to extend out to the normal length of 60" or so. Get a longer pipe, add the required length to the control rod.
