Hey guys,
First off, thankyou Hiball and Nehog for help finding a kit and manual.

I put the kit together and the jack still won't work. When I pump up the pump valve, It feels like it is working just as it should. However, the ram won't move. I can pull the ram out by hand and push it back in the same. It has oil. WTF? The kit did have an extra O-ring that I could not figure out where it goes...The schematic didn't show it or the other seal the same size as the roughly 1-1/4" O-ring which was about 1/8" thick and wide. I'm about to turn this damned thing into a projectile!

HELP! Please.

Its Probably 1 of 2 things.

1. Either the Working Valve isnt Correct? (Bottom to Top) Small Ball, Small Spring, Bigger Ball, Big Spring, Seal, Plug.

2. The Release Mechanism isnt squared up correctly, Being that your not getting ANY movement with the Handle, I would Look here first.

The Bigger Oring you Reference sits under the Main Cylinder in between the Base/Cylinder. They are somewhat a Pain to install (without the proper Tool) as that Cylinder is torqued down considerably And Most people dont even Muck with them as ive seen alot of flatspotted cylinder walls over the Years. Your Issue doesnt sound affiliated with that Extra Oring...

Thanks for the info. I believe it's got to be the release mechanism since the ball bearing and spring setup went in great. I took the release mechanism apart and it looked good. It acts like it isn't getting screwed down tight enough to get a seal. I'm jsut at a loss on what could be happening.
