Anyone have a good match for Hein Werner yellow that comes on their jacks these days? have some touch up on the saddle to do.

apparently no one touches up paint damage to their jacks. It is this model

Its called "sunshine yellow" - it's a little off from lemon yellow. It's also referred to as "AAA yellow" as it's the same color as on their tow trucks... Duplicolor makes a touch up that is in the same "range" as these, it's color # BTY1517.

By the way - it is a visibility thing on the tow trucks, they've been using that color for, darn, probably a century now.

How much touch up paint do you need? I had a quart made up a few years back. I did the touch up using a air brush ..

it will probably be a pertetual need if the saddle gets nicked. Did you just go to a body paint supply and match, or did someone have a known formula for it?

I took the handle to the paint shop and he electronically match it. After touching up the saddle and handle, I could not see the difference. :thumbup:
