Never saw that before but I hate stuff on the floor.

Here is another way to solve the problem. 3 of my 4 guys bought one and they where them all day.

Cool light, was guessing a price tag close to $1000, surprised only $600/700 until I realized you have to plug it in and not cordless.... which then I have zero interest in a corded light.

Ya I agree that's a real turn off not including the controller. However as a sparky for most all my life I've dealt with a **** load of CIP lighting. And if I were going to buy this set up I'd cut the recess in and core for the wiring so none of that was exposed and mount the controller on the post of my lift. The one downside that would probably really piss me off would be to drop something and look down and blind yourself. No matter how much you tell or train yourself to not "look into the light", it's a natural response to look if something falls.

You'd think for that kind of money they'd consider a battery unit with a remote control. Now depending on run time would be a real winner.

I have damn near every type of headgear out there and all of it drives me nuts to wear. The one and only headlight that doesn't bother me is the one on my hard hat. But I'll be damned if I'm wearing that thing unless I have too. :spit:

Not head gear, it fits around your neck. The guy I work with loves it.

Good idea, but for $600 somebody is making lots of money off it.

Thes are very close to LED Light Panels, or LED On Camera Lights, easily found on Amazon or Ebay for less.

I linked one that looks like it has a low profile, similar output, and is BATTERY operable off common camera battery packs (or plug-in).

*noted that obviously you cant drive on, pour water, or beat the hell out of it, but they are durable.
