Hellfire or a sealer?

I know these discussions have been beat to death but with all my searching I still haven’t decided, but I do think I have it down to two:

Brand new pour, 30x40 garage.

Will mostly be used to park trucks and motorcycles.
Mostly light repairs - oil changes, brakes etc. POSSIBLY some mig welding down the line so I’d like to plan ahead for that.
Some leak oil.
Hot tires coming in (bikes)
It will see salt exposure (New England)
It will have jacks and jack stands and motorcycle lifts wheeled across the floor.

1. I don’t like the look or slickness of epoxy coatings, or the fact that they’re hard to repair, and expensive.
2. Mostly concerned with oil stains, and just generally not looking like **** (stains, flakey, failing coating etc.)
3. I’d like to not have to grind my new floor but will if needed.

Given my use and wants, I’m thinking a simple sealer to keep dust and oil stains down, or Legacy’s Hellfire to accomplish the same task but with a fresh look, and possibly even more wear resistance? Though I’ve seen a couple failures on here now.

Open to any suggestions and feedback.
Thank you!

I can't speak for Hellfire other than to say it is a great product.

We talk about coatings differently, but the average person, when the job is done, would not know if it was an epoxy, an MCU, or a Polyurea. Most of the difference is in the application.

If you are going to clean oil off the floor right away, sealers are great. If oil is left for a week, it will start to punch through. Based on what you describe, you want I would go with a coating, but I would just do clear and use anti-skid. like our etch and seal product

Hellfire sounds like a great option. I think I would add optional clear topcoat to help against the abuse the floor will see. I’m pretty sure it can go over an acid etch but I’d confirm that with Legacy. MCU coatings are known for their abrasion resistance and durability.

Hellfire to our knowledge acts as a topcoat and would not normally be topcoated over, suggest check with the supplier to confirm.

HellFire can be topcoated with HellFire Clearcoat. However, HF is plenty resistant enough for most jobs.
The clearcoat also nullifies the heat resistant capability that most hobbyists/professionals appreciate when welding.
