Hellfire with HD39 Densifier - no vapor barrier

So a horrible realization came to me that I forgot to ask for a vapor barrier and now the concrete is already poured...

So I want to seal the floor. I was already intent on using Hellfire for the floor since I’ll be working on cars and welding so that rules out epoxy etc. But I’m wondering if I need to use a densifier/waterproofer first to seal the floor.

Moisture issues are very very rare.
I would not use the densifier as it blocks the pores that we want the coating to lock into.

Go ahead and do a moisture test front back and middle of your garage and see how you make out.

Thanks and good luck.

Ok great! I just didn’t want to be an issue for adhesion or curling.

It’s only 3 weeks at this stage and doesn’t look quiet dry enough yet but I’ll do the moisture test in a week after this great warm weather we’re having here in NC

I would definitely want to be 60 days out before I would apply any coating.

The moisture that is in that slab and leaving it is the biggest issue.
