New to the site and pretty much anything that has to do with construction, but I have a brain full of ideas that I want to put on paper and have a hand in building a nice new garage.
I have been gradually doing research on how I want this thing built and I have been book-marking a lot of my ideas on my computer. I found a nice "poor-man's CAD" online and was playing around with it and came up with a rough sketch of how I want my garage to look.
It's a 32'x36' two car with a balcony on the inside about 10' up and underneath it being a storage/electrical room.
Here is a screen shot of what I made:
I'm obviously mostly dreaming here, but it would be nice to see what it would cost to build this moderate dream garage. In due time I can figure out the pricing, I suppose.
It's awesome to see that there is a forum for this kind of stuff!
