Great site, I found it while searching for tool reviews. I'm in the beginning stages of a career change and this site has been a great help.
I started in the music industry, courted the tattoo industry, and have found my calling in the automotive industry. I am making my way through the process of going back to school to get an Associate Degree in Applied Science, Automotive Technology. Apparently, that's the college way of saying 'mechanic'. After school is completed and degrees are awarded my goal is to find an employer that focuses on furthering education and begin working toward ASE certifications.
Since the required first semester courses are not offered in the spring I must wait until next fall to begin classes. In the meantime I am trading out some of my unnecessary luthier and amplifier tools and tattoo equipment for better auto tools and am also working on several very glamorous cars including a Geo Metro and an Oldsmobile Cutlass.
