Hello from a transplanted Texan in Iowa

Took a job in Iowa for a couple years while building my garage in Texas. I've started a 50 x 30 metal shop building with 12 ft eaves, 3 roll up doors (one drive thru). Insulated, with a 20 x 40 concrete driveway with cover. Next steps are epoxy floor, electrical, plumbing and inside construction of bathroom, utility room, and office.

I have put many a line into the Skunk river as a boy. And I have picked many pounds of morels along her banks.

The skunk river is just afew miles from my house in Wever, just north of Fort Madison. Next spring is my first one so the mushroom hunting will have to wait.
