Evening all! Just thought I'd stop here and say Hi!

I'm a sparkie from Edmonton, AB. Worked mostly commercial/institutional construction (with a bit of industrial for good measure) so I've some overall experience, but nothing that touches on residential garages. The closest I got was the high-speed oversized overhead door for a police station for access into the holding cells.... so, not at all similar as that's a VERY different door.

I will probably be the first Alaskan, now transplanted to Southwestern California to welcome you to the Forum.

I drove the highways in BC and Yukon, but the closest I made it to Alberta was Banff and Lake Louis.

Another hello from a home gamer in balmy (-28C) Saskatoon.

I did my third year in sheetmetal trade at NAIT. I rented a basement room on 137XX-118 Ave.
I might have been 18yo. The hotel bar near NAIT never asked for ID. Legal age was 21 , then. This where I stop telling on myself. OMG. I was driving a Corvair turbo convertible at that time. I wonder how Emily is doing. She showed a bunch of us how she could pick up a long neck beer bottle without using her hands. We were in the rec-room at a friend's parents house. My friends mother saw what was happening. After a few beer, she tried this herself.
It has only been just over 60 years.
EC Manning was the Premier. My Dad would fall asleep while Ol' ECM was doing his Sunday Morning radio show.

Welcome from another Canadian. Near Saskatoon, so day started off at -40C/F. Almost makes it hard to remember we moved down here from the North because it is so much warmer.
