Hi folks, I came across your forum while looking for info in vices (or vises to you ) and it looks like an informative and lively place to be, so I joined. I originally worked on construction plant (did my training in the British Army) but now fix fork lift trucks for a living. I've recently got myself a shed, to house and work on my growing collection of mountain bikes, hence the need for a good vice.

Vices over here are something completely different for us. They usually involve firearms,loose women,alcohol and/or fast cars. Either way a good time can be had here by all. Welcome.

Welcome! I've lived in England...in Newmarket. Be careful on this site...you will find plenty of tools you never knew you needed until now. Please post some pictures of your work space!
