I’m really excited to be here. My name is Joey (obviously).I’m an IT Professional and telecommute full time but my passion for life is building things and landscaping.
I’m married going on 3 year with 3 kids. I sold my toys (motorcycle & car) when we moved (from NE Georgia, outside Atlanta) to live on my wife’s family’s land and it’s finally time to start planning for my garage / shop / work office!
Bouncing around ideas and think a metal building on a pad would be the most economical however I am LOVING the look of some of these single slope roof shops!
I built a shingled 16x24 pavilion framed with 6x6’s last summer and it did nothing to satiate my desire to build. I’m going to go read and check out some build threads!
