Hello from Alaska

Hello everyone. My name is Wayne. And I am a garage and tool junky. I live in Anchorage. With any luck I will move back to Texas this summer. I work at the Dodge dealership for now. Worked at Nissan for 4 years as a mainline tech. Just starting at the Dodge dealer though. Bean around the block a few times but I still learn everyday.

Been looking around on this site for a week or so and like it a lot so far.

Why move back to Texas? It's so......small.

My daughter and I hate the snow and ice. The cold ain't much better. Understand, I was born here in Alaska and lived here for some time. All my friends are in Texas. As well as my daughters fiends. I miss it. It's cheaper. A lot more jobs in the fields I work or want to work in. Alaska is bigger yes. But Texas has more USABLE Space. A single lot of property here goes for around $100k. In Texas you can get a whole acre for around $5k. Those are just a couple of reasons.
