Hello from an ex ---- On tools dealer

Hi folks! Just found out about this site. Used to work on cars and motorcycles I owned. Apprenticed in an auto dealership. Left when I got a better paying job in a printing plant. At the same time I tried working part time with S--- on a few hours a day. Did that for a few months until my body couldn't take the sleep deprivation anymore; so I quit. Just moved to a condominium bldg. No more garage space to work on a car and to store tools. Had to get rid most of my tools. Most of the wrenching I do now are on my bicycles.

Hope to be able to add something to the discussions.

I had 2 brother-in-laws in the printing business. One for a big company, the other for a small one, both for more than 30 years The recession put both of the out of work,

Kind hard finding a new career when your over 50 !

Thanks, everybody! I just realized that for the first time in over 20 years; I actually don't have a garage. The building I just moved to has underground parking. I think somebody will complain if I do an oil change I already learned a lot in the couple of days since I checked in. Hope that I'm still welcome in Garage Journal; even though technically - I don't have a garage.
