Hey all,
Lurked here for a little bit and decided it's time to post. Just bought an older Craftsman home in Southern Oregon and I need to do something about the lack of a garage/shop that I need... Even at 32 years old, I am sick and tired of building projects in the elements or under just a carport, it has seriously gotten old!
Currently I have an older 3 car carport that looks like is starting to lean. I plan on re-building a new garage (big as possible) that somewhat matches the house, with a higher ceiling so I can have the above ground lift I've always wanted and 220V outlet for my welder. Like most everyone, I would like to do it affordably and as soon as possible.
I'm familiar with cars and bikes, but not too familiar when it comes to constructing buildings or structures. I could definitely use some help from the more experienced ones here..
