I've been on the forum for a while but mostly just checking out posts and some stuff around the lift I own (maxjaxx).
I am about to build a 20 x 28 garage separate from the house garage and am very excited to have a dedicated space, I'd love the garage to be larger of course but I'm in the city of Atlanta and I had to get variances to even do what I'm doing..
I like to wrench on cars and build cabinets/furniture etc.. and do a bit of 3d printing too, gets me away from the day job at my desk
My toy is a 2014 McLaren 12c that I do most of the work on. I've had some fun toys in the past a AMG GTS, Nissan GTR and a couple of ducati's..
I am going to do a rollup door as I want the ceiling clearance, I'm going to move my lift over but planning the ceiling height and power to move to a full size lift if I want to later. The garage will be wood construction with smart siding, and I'll be doing the interior finish work myself.. mostly sheetrock but some plywood on the walls where I want to be able to screw anything in anywhere..
I'm still figuring out cost effective insulation, its fairly mild in atlanta, I've been looking at the wool rock, regular batton and foam board.. prices all over the place
