Hi, well I finally found a took a few photos of my cave today and thought I have to try and post them. Home is BC Canada, about 15 minutes north of the Washington border. My workshop was my gift to me, as I was the contractor-builder of our new home and I re-invested the savings when building the home into the garage. I had a lot of help from friends and would not have got the home and garage completed without their help, thanks guys!
My shop is 26 X 26, and I already wish I had made it 26 X 30, more room for the Chevelle and the workbench. I was drifting around on this forum for weeks looking for plans and ideas for the shop and loft. I can't believe there are 3 million other guys out there in the world all with man caves just waiting to build something that they were told is impossible. I come from a 20 plus years of automotive mechanics (my father owner a GM dealership). Glad to be here!

Well I can tell you it has been a lot colder here than Victoria. I have the shop wired up, just planning insulation, heat, workbenches, water-lines before the sheet-rock. I have been lurking at this site for a few weeks and it is full of great ideas. I am fortunate that I have some great friends with shops that I am welcome to, but this is never the same as having one at home.
