Hello from a snowy part of British Columbia!

I've lurked for a few months whilst I was waiting for my (new to me) house purchase to complete. I moved in recently and now finally getting to focus on sorting out my garage and making it more useful! I've got plenty of jobs to do and I'll be posting/searching for the advise soon, such as raising the garage door, painting the OSB and concrete walls, installing 2-post garage lift and installing NewAge cabinets!

Photo (2nd day of moving in!)

Yeah I saw the location and said no way that is Vancouver.

Glad to hear you moved to Kamloops, I spent 6 months in Vancouver 10 years ago, called my wife and said I moved here for you but it’s made me go into Depression, I am going home with or without you. Moved back to Calgary.

Looks like you got a great place there, what kinda hobbies?

Ooh I love Kamloops. People call it the desert and say that it ***** compared to Kelowna or Vancouver but I really like it and I know you can get a lot more house and/or space for your money than those places. I spend about a week per year out there for work and would happily move there.

Well, when I say Kamloops.. I'm 45km's away up on the mountain in Sun Peaks (ski resort), but Kamloops is the nearest city!

Hobbies wise: dirt bikes, skiing, anything car related (hence wanting to install a lift, I enjoy DIY), mountain biking etc.

Loving the outdoors here already! :)

I had several weather related comments before I read the whole thread. I grew up in Surrey/Langley/White Rock and yes you can get a dump of snow. It just doesn't last long. Welcome aboard!
