Hi all, I've been lurking for a fair time now and it's about time I introduced myself. :D

I still live at home with my parents at the moment, so the garage we have isn't mine, but it's me that spends the most time using it. It's a small single, so small you can't fit a car in it! It currently has my brother's mx bike and trailer in it along with my tools and some shelves and is generally quite untidy. I've been browsing for a while now and the single garages on here look incredible and I'd love to put some of those ideas into this one.

Anyway, enough rambling, I'm a reader more than a talker but I will try to contribute where I can!

Hello and welcome from Australia. I am guessing most us stated out in their parents garages as tonkatoy said.

One thing is that I am glad I have my own now.

Enjoy the forum and I am sure you will pick up plenty of ideas that you can use..

Rich: happy to have another member and sounds like you are pretty handy. if you are able to take a few pictures of your garage and post them I (we) might have a few ideas to help you if you need any.

good luck

Thanks for the warm welcome all :)

I will see about taking some pictures of the garage in its current state. It needs some work for sure, along with my cars. I have an Audi A6 which needs a starter motor amongst other things, and a Seat Ibiza Cupra which needs turbo bearings but I haven't got enough spare cash to fix either at the moment.

Rich: just make a to do list and do what you can. pictures to start and maybe we'll have some ideas for you. while you are waiting for funds or the knowledge to fix some of those issues just enjoy the reading on the threads that interest you. i usually hang in the old tool sections, but there are plenty of garages and other areas where some really smart guys and gals discuss some amazing topics.
