Hello from California

Hi everyone, happy to be finally joining GJ. I recently closed on a house with a RV Garage. I don't own an RV, so planning to turn it into a bit of a mancave to store all my toys. Can't wait to learn more and share.

I understand there are some code requirements like keeping it below 30% of the total area.. Some concerns around my HOA.

I liked some of the stuff from mezzaninesonline (~5-6k) and feel competent enough to assemble that myself (with family), but a lumber one is probably cheaper but I don't know a lot about building things with wood.
